Eastern Europe 15 June 2011 - 23 June 2011

It's been nine months after our trip to Eastern Europe and I finally found some time to write about our trip there. This trip is actually our honeymoon vacation and initially we planned to go Hokkaido since Airin wanted to see the lavender season so much. However, due to the earthquake incident in Japan back in April, we changed our plan to Eastern Europe which is actually our second choice. After our trip to Europe in 2009, I have fall in love with Europe and always thinks of going back there again. We just have to fork out slightly more for the Eastern Europe vacation and in someway it's kind of worth it compare to paying almost the same amount of money just to visit Hokkaido (reminds me of the words of a tour promoter during MATTA fair, Malaysians love to pay small sum but wants maximum out of it, i.e. in vacations means many places instead of one or two places only).

Since we decided to follow a Singapore tour company, it's only right for us to fly off from Singapore. Our package includes air tickets from KL to Singapore and started our vacation at 3pm on 15 June 2011. Upon arrival in Changi Airport, we look for a place to have our dinner. After walking around the departure area, we decided to have our dinner at Paradise Inn, a local Chinese cuisine restaurant. We were lucky to found a small table and proceed to make our order.

We even managed to meet up with Viona, who's already in her fourth month pregnancy. Chatted for awhile and bid goodbye to Viona Yin, she's really tired due to the pregnancy and gained some weight. Then we meet up with our tour leader, Betty who will accompany us during the entire vacation. Since it's still early, we decided to check in, get our boarding pass and enter the departure area for sight seeing and window shopping. By 10.45pm, we were already in the boarding area to our flight that will take off at 11.05pm. we settle down ourselves in our couple seat on the right side of the plane, and by 11.05pm, our plane take off, bringing us on our first vacation as a married couple.
