Hong Kong April 15 2011

Today is our third day in Hong Kong. As expected, I didn't sleep well again due to the be mites. Woke up middle of the night to wash my hands and apply some oilment to sooth the itchiness. Anyway, for breakfast, we went to Australia Dairy Co, a restaurant sound so western to me but very chinese actually. The restaurant is packed with people and we have to share our table with others. And, everything happen very fast, from ordering to serving food, munching your food and then leave. I mean the Hongkies. From the time we're seated till we pay our bills, we already have two different couples sitting with us. They really can eat very fast and alot too. Too bad I didn't take any photos because the packed environment and other people at our table. The food there are delicious and tasty as well and the waiters are very experience and patience with us, especially me. they have to ask each question to me twice because they talk too fast and I'm damn slow to catch what they're saying. Because their food are so tasty, we decided to tapao two bread to eat on our way to Ngong Ping, Lantau Island.

Next, we have to travel by lrt to Ngong Ping Station to catch the cable car to Lantau Island to see the Tian Tan Buddha, also known as Big Buddha. Quite a journey actually, it took us almost 25 minutes to reached Ngong Ping Station.

airin and wee ee before lunch. Due to the extra bread that we eat inside the cable car, we're not able to finish all our dishes. We leave out the popia skin roll, hopefully they don't throw it away.

After our lunch, we take the cable car back to Ngong Ping Station at Tung Chung. Then we went to Tung Chung Citygate Outlets, where a variety of branded good outlets selling their product at huge discounts. However, we managed to get 1 or 2 tshirts only during our time at the outlets. Nothing much for us to shop actually.

Around 4pm, we take the lrt station back to city centre to look for our dinner. Not sure where it is, but definitely nearby a few universities. we tried out the che cai mee (small cart noodles) with some dishes.
