Macau - Hong Kong trip April 12 - April 16 2011

Airin, Wee Ee and I went for our long planned HK trip back in April 2011. Prior to this trip, Airin and I keep pondering whether to go or just waste the flight tickets due to other commitments and our wedding preparations. However, towards the end of February, we decided to proceed with this trip and further commit ourselves to this trip by booking our rooms both in Macau and HK and persuading Wee Ee to pre-booked our meals during our flight to Macau.

So, on the eve of our trip, we pick up Wee Ee at Putrajaya Sentral and went home to pack our bags and rest early. By 3.15am, everyone was awake and taking shower. Uncle W, our unofficial driver airport driver for years already waiting by the time i open our front door. It took us 30 minutes to reach LCCT. Upon checking in our bags, we went to McD to have our early breakfast. Quite a lot of people inside McD, either having their breakfast or just passing their time sleeping or surfing.


We then proceed to our boarding gate which surprisingly different to the other flights. Thought of shooting some photos while walking to our flight like other bloggers did and posted on the blogs but decided against it when i saw no photo shooting signage at the walking pathway. Btw, we took our own sweet time to board the flight because Ms Wee Ee prebooked our seats with some small additional charges.

During our flight, we have our wonderful prebooked meals (remember to keep the boarding tickets to show to the flight attendants), did some reading and nap awhile.. As scheduled, we arrived at Macau International Airport at 10.15am... the weather was perfect, cooling and slightly windy..The Immigration part was not so nice due to the long queue and the arrogant officer at the counter.

After collecting our bags, we took a taxi ride to Sintra Hotel. Checked in and leave our bags at the concierge and begin our food hunting in Macau.
